Most is still in slab form from last session. So yes /no ; not really ,( heck , I don't know) plus that makes great firewood.

Disposing of ash limbs? Fun way to do it! :coldfire: I often scrounge twigs to start the firepit here. Being surrounded by woods there's no short supply.

My only pre coffee activity is going to the bathroom!:emb: :coffee:

Burning up fallen branches that have been collected over the years. As well as sheets of oak bark that'll be re-collected once I start moving oak splits to the house.

Looking forward to a fire, some burgers and a live stream tonight, it’s been a long week.

I have a bunch of sugar maple bark for the pit. From this weeks splitting. Needs to dry a bit. I have it in the sun. Seems SM is the only bark I save to burn.

How good does that charcoal starter work? I have one but never have used it. Normally put the briquettes on a grate over the firepit to start them.

    That's it.

If I'm looking to light off a small amount, say a dozen briquettes, I turn it upside down and it'll hold what I want.

Really well. That's all I use for starting charcoal for cooking.

Works great for lump, I’m not a briquette user so I can’t comment there.

Looks like you have a wolf prowling around just outside the campfire light!
