Outdoor fire!

Few weeks ago part of a cherry tree went down in the yard and took out my lights. Finally got around to putting up some new ones yesterday.

 

Don't even have to ask who stacked the firewood in that fire!

The old log cabin style fire..

We'll have a couple of outdoor fires this weekend, even though tomorrow is supposed to be a washout. It rained and stormed pretty good last night, and the sump pump kicking on confirms as much. Today is supposed to be gorgeous out and I'll be bringing firewood to our friends place for the backyard gtg today

 

Already got to the humid and hot days here. Sitting around fires are gonna have to wait till fall

 

Here's the last of campfire wood for our friends that I'm bringing today. A little more than a face cord

 

First outside fire this evening.

 

Very pleasant evening here in south central PA. Decided to light one up.

 

Pretty dry around here for a fire of that magnitude! It does look nice though!

 

Tonight's fire. Burning more fuglies. Some pieces aren't fully dry, but the fire doesn't care and there's no chimney to get creosote in.

 

Log snot bubbling out the end, adds to my campfire viewing pleasure!

 

I took these on Father’s Day weekend, at an annual event. The attendance was down a bit, but the big chimney logs made for a some great fires.

 

A lil warm for it but we got stuff going on for the next few nights so…
