It's actually red hot. About 28° here and very comfortable at 6' from it. Any closer and you smell you clothes.
Due west and a touch south of Little Rock. About 45 minutes from there and 20 minutes from Benton. Out in the country.
I looked at your location and saw where you wasn't that far away. We'll be north of Beaver lake in mid April for a week. Going into Branson one day and would love to meet up if your so inclined. Maybe have supper or lunch.
Yeah that might work out. Just shoot me a pm when it's closer, and I'll see what my schedule is like.
We had our first outdoor fire last night. I didn't take any pictures, but it was really nice. The pups played fetch for hours. It was an awesome way to get the pups tired out today, since we spent Easter with our friends in a neighboring town today. The pups are still tired.
Second pile of sticks so far. Aleady another half it's size in the same spot. Didn't want to make this one any bigger. Finally got a chance to torch it off Friday night.
I had an outdoor fire this morning. Last December I borrowed the neighbors cherry picker and put the big black walnut beside my shed on a diet. The limbs sat all winter in my bro in laws field. I figured he will be planting crops soon so I lit er up today! She caught good with some used engine oil and the Sunday newspaper. No gasoline and no tires were harmed in this process I swear
No outdoor fires today! Red Flag Warning for Rock County Wisconsin. Temps could hit 80 with low humidity and gusty SW winds. I’ll be a good boy,,,
Back at the farm. Heard lots of coyotes howling, so I am keeping the little pooch real close. Hearing turkeys gobble too…hunting season in two weeks!
We've had a few fire pit fires already. Actually, that's the only burning we've done in a week. The stove is COLD. But there might be some rain and snow tonight and tomorrow. I'll fire up the quadrafire if that's the case.
The snow melted and revealed a firepit just where we left it last fall! Gonna have to put it to use as soon as the ground dries up enough.
