Outdoor fire!

Its the shape of the rocks of the fire pit layout....in the shape of a keyhole.

 

As I see it, you have your main fire ring/pit area. As wood burns down, coals can be raked to the square area for grilling.

Of course, the entire area can be used for grilling in overkill mode!

Tried out a new fire pit the other day with the misses, the kid and her kid.

Burned some pine and made chili in the Dutch oven on it.

Leaving Wednesday this week to go camping so going to have a lot of fires.

 

Set up day of our 4 day horse ride camping trip, got everything set up and a nice fire started, brought a pile of pine with for our fires. Probably buy a few bundles of wood from the FFA group that goes around and sells it here also.
