    well, im with ya on that , to be honest its probably outside of my expertise , i just havent had my hands on one so it would take me quite a bit of work to figure it out if i even could without input from the manufacturer or an extermely sharp dealer who flat out KNEW his product inside and out.

    would have been easier if you wer 200 miles away instead of 2000 ;)

    Oldspark, I have seen similar as a nice difference between flue temp and stove top temp. As you want a greater temp difference and you want the stove top hotter and flue cooler so you know less heat is being wasted up the flue. As the stove radiates heat out into the room very well so less heat is getting up the flue.
