Out with the old and in with the. ..... old

This thing drafts like there's a vacuum cleaner hooked to the top! Even if i close the knobs completely she still wants to pull. Not that it's runnin away on me but the temps get up there and once I close the pipe damper a bit it seems to level off at a lower temp. I can open the doors for a reload with the damper 50% closed and barely any smoke rolls out but in most cases I keep the pipe damper open until the stove gets cranking then back her down.
