    Nice woodyard Nord !
I have an electric powered splitter also . Mine is a Kinetic . It's not super powerful but it is pretty fast . As we are off grid. I have to fire up my old 3500 watt Honda generator to run it. The smaller 2200 watt generator we run our house with won't start the splitter . Especially when the belt is cold . You have yellow Birch there . Wish we did here . It makes wonderful strong lumber and beams.
    Burns great also .
Shingeing your dome looks like it would be quite a challenge.
In Alaska , after the Trans Alaska pipeline was built . The State sold lots of land as small towns . Several are boat or airplane only access. In the winters , people access their places with snowmobile and dogsled tho .

As a roofer by trade I thought the same thing. I've shingled three round turrets in the past and rather challenging to do it the correct way.

Beautiful location Nord, nice looking pile of BTU's also! I'm the father of an autistic boy also (he's gonna be 27 this week), life's had its hectic moments but with lots of patience, love and understanding he's grown into a fine young man. You and your family have a Happy New Year!

The dome needs to be done this summer, I am really not looking forward to it! While I am pretty handy I am no roofer so going to have to get somebody in for it. The woodyard is looking a wee bit wet today, crazy for this time of year.

Great to hear about your son, once you learn to understand him it changes alot. I had 3 sons before him and thought I knew something, I have had to change and learn with him. Great kid and it is fun to watch him grow and change!

The location now has a lake lol, never seen this before, especially this time of year! I moved that wood last night in the rain to the right side as it was going under, fun fun.
