    Well, apparently there are a lot of weasels selling chainsaws in NE OH these days! I called the guy about this Partner saw and he said he had it loaned out to someone whos saw he was working on right now, and that when it was back (in a couple days) he would call me to come look at it. He never called...and then he raised the price in the ad from $150 to $200...a couple weeks at that price, and now he has lowered it to $180 ...I'd call him back to throw him a low ball offer but he claimed the original price was firm...I dunno, it has been for sale for months now. I'd call anyways but people that play games just pizz me off.
    Fast forward to last night, I seen an ad that was posted minutes earlier for a non running, but low hour Stihl 026 for CHEAP money. I thought maybe I could get it running and then trade up for an older "big bore" saw. So I called the guy asking when I could come see it, he says first thing in the morning and that I have first shot at it. I said see ya then. So I get a text from him early this AM (wakes me up) that someone offered him more than his ad price so he was gonna sell it to them! I said that I thought we had a deal and that I'm not gonna get into a bidding war, I'm out.
    WEASELS I tell ya!!! :mad: :headbang: :hair:

    So the hunt for a cheap big dog saw continues...
