I still have a unit waiting at SOT for me. It's all paid up and everything I just been slacking. Now have a savage rifle on the way there to further motivate. Used the SWR and CMMG this weekend a little.

This is a great place to buy adapters. Finally ordered one to get the Diana R-22 from 1/2-20 to 1/2-28 threading.

This is my first time working through the paperwork with ATF. It's not as bad as I expected...we are using Eforms and it's not terrible. Is a form 1 any different?

I've always wanted an AR-9 SBR but the $200 and hassle always held me off. If the form 1 process is as easy as the form 4 I may reconsider.

I have done about a dozen form 1 applications. It is super easy if you have your eft file for fingerprints. I can submit one in under 5 minutes.

    Still waiting.

Decided to get the rimfires ready for their new toy while I wait. The old bolt gun was looking a little rough so I stripped it down and gave it the finest rattle can job I could.

My 10/22 had a factory unthreaded barrel with iron sights. I ended up buying a new threaded barrel for $130 and sold my old one for $80. It has a better finish than the factory barrel and is at least as accurate, if not more so. Ended up being $100 cheaper than having the smith thread it so I can't complain about that.

Lots of options. Whose barrel did you choose? I been threatening a zebra paint scheme on one of my Rugers. Not got the gumption together yet to do it, though I located a stencil.

Should give reliable service being a sporter chamber. Mini mags should fit.

I haven't shot it a lot, but it runs fine so far.

Subsonic hollow points are the stuff with a suppressor. Minimags or other supersonics defeat the purpose. I run cci suppressor hollow points and they are VERY quiet. Standard velocity has some zip to it because it is so close to the sound barrier.
