It depends if the mount is the same. The 6400 takes a large husky mount I think it is D009. I doubt your craftsman has a large husky mount maybe the small K095 mount.

I'm guessing that is a standard 72 Drive Link Bar, and a large mount, so your other bar is not going to work on there.
You can find an Oregon 3/8. 050 72 DL, LGX, chain lot of different places but probably not at the Home Depot

You might be surprised? But yea I would think more than a minute or so would weld it up solid. It was lore of a joke than a real situation. :rofl:

Do you have a dolmar bar already or do they run husky/Poulan mounts?

I have a couple of good shops locally that can hook me up at first, then I will find what I need online.

    Your right Carl I was thinking 7910. Guess I didn't realize the 6421 had a different coil.:picard:

Im sure the hipster millineals didn't totally trash the bar to unusable status. You can correct a few problems with a bar. If you saw what my 25" stihl bar looked like you would think it was junk. Still works, not pretty but perfectly serviceable. Had been rode hard by a tree service in a previous life though.

Agreed. When I first dove into this obsession I was worried that bars and chains were very fragile beings. I am finding, through much use, that is not necessarily the case. My Oregon bar for my Craftsman has taken much more abuse than I ever thought it would and is still straight and true.

This would be better with some brands and what makes sense to us there. Like small mount husky etc. I always forget what corresponds.

Good luck. Remember the "millineal hipster" line when negotiating.
