I am a fan of anyone who conceal carries or open carries. But everyone I know that does it? Respects the law and the people. My good friend has no permit and goes to probably 30 or better of our lower 48 in his truck every year. He open carries and knows his rights. The 2nd ammendment will protect you. As long as you are not an idiot. Have some respect and you will be shown respect. People that do as that guy did? Gives everyone else a bad name.
Happens with many things, the "loud pipes saves lives" BS comes to mind. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for personal freedoms and liberty, but you have to show a bit of respect too. If the jacka$$ with the chip on their shoulder and a point to prove would realize that they are actually doing harm to their "cause" they may think twice about the public display.
