Yesterday we hooked up the gooseneck and drove the hi lift down the road to grab a good load of oaks. It's a messy load but we're only a 1/4 mile from the house so I just took it easy coming back. Time to start another pile for the big ones. Basically the top two rows are from this load KIMG0044.JPG KIMG0042.JPG

Nice, the trailer looks like it will take a very heavy load.

Yea that log just wouldn't stay put but it stayed on the trailer for the short ride home.
Unfortunately while unloading those logs the hi lift blew a seal on the main lifting cylinder. Gonna be fun getting that sucker apart

    WOW
    Serious pile of BTUs there
Is it all for firewood or is some to be milled?

It's an older JCB telehandler (4x4 telescoping forklift)

Dave, most of it will be firewood but some of the larger logs i might have milled. :saw:

Seriously. Piney's one load with my method would take a few weeks to recover from let alone the time to get it done. Nice load piney.
