Mine are free....wrap pine kindling with newspaper, place on top of some single sheet rolled and crumpled newspaper. In my opinion I don't think I will ever buy starters. Closest thing I have purchased or will purchase again is a propane torch. A $6 bottle lasts me 2 years....unless my teenage boy decides to use it for his Bushcraft camp because it rained all summer, and he had no dry kindling stashed away....
