Lol. What's funny is that this was a chain that was sharpened by my guy that has the wood mizer mill. I've never had any issues with his sharpening jobs. It sure cut good, aside from the curve, which wanted to bind the bar in the cut.

I didn't swap it out yesterday, as I was she with cutting. Today, I took a break and didn't do anything with the ash tree cleanup. Maybe tomorrow.

Yeah, no. The 2in 1 will do a much better job than turbo drill method will.

Had this same issue about a month ago with my 455. Last time I had the angle cut it was the bar (needed trued). Took it off and smoothed it up. Next time out it was a little better but still had an ang!e cut. Decided it was probably the chain. I had new chains with me but decided to just put the saw in the truck and cut with another for the day. Got to thinking !ater, chains are about 20.00 and the bar was pretty old. Bought new bar and chain combo on flea bay for 45.00. Cuts real well now..... :saw:. Sometimes your time and aggravation has a cost that is worth paying.

There's nothing like all new parts to fix a problem, sometimes. Had to do that on my Jonsered 2255 back a while, after I figured out it had a bunch of mismatched parts on it. Looking back, I wonder how it cut as good as did for quite a while.

It was the chain. Put a freshly sharpened carlton woodland pro done by that same guy that sharpened the other one that I thought was woodland pro as well but was actually an oregon brand?
Outside of the trilink one that came with the saw, I've only bought woodland pro from baileys. Wonder if they go with whatever brand they get a good deal on?

    Anywhooey... Much better
