No Oldman47 but they are re-introducing elk We lead the nation in deer collisions as it is, just what we need is 400 lb elk to slam into-Some are happy for sure but not yours truly-I am as certified a nutbag for big whitetails as wood hoarding, just more successful at wood hoarding I've bowhunted your awesome whitetail mecca twice and never even drew the bow...One of the counties was Randolph, dont remember the other,,,.Take care sir
It does suck my friend but what are you gonna do? Least there are tangible results vs sweating in a treestand swatting bugs....today was 79----we are expecting relief Sat-Sun
It was restacked the next day but for some reason no picture I've changed my preference from bricks to ground contact 4x4's scraps as my rail cribbing, way more stable. Termites will leave them alone long enough to season oak maybe get two seasoning sessions before they are toast
I counted this eve the two Polar trailer trips that make up this load in the old Chevy=stacked in the bottom and ready to be split tomorrow are 91 rounds-so happy with the Polar----yes its an investment but the floating tandem axle is worth its weight in cash...I couldnt haul out off my farm without it due to road deterioration asI have no dozer and my cousins on the adjoining tract is broke down...the Polar will traverse any ground that the Foreman will go over and I have some serious wash-outs from flooding in the spring...
Hey Eric VW (WV) got word from my hunting buddy, Hobart grad---said it depends on tip size "5 min or so with a small one, less with a bigger one" Not a big deal according to him-told him I would be setting up a new rig later winter or early spring and may not need 39' length--he said "say the word"
That's how you "get 'er done!" A little nudge from your neighbor to the south, a little help from yer Hobart buddy.... And I say you got the makings of the next wood stacking set up! Nice! Glad you reached out.
Ya bettah hurry up! I'm having my double hernia surgery next Thursday, and will quit drinking thereafter... So I guess you can have one or three, and I'll have a water.... You getting tired of adding (WV) after my name yet? Guess not
Nope-we're gonna adopt ya eventually-and with the double hernia repaired (hate that as I have two tears in the rotator cuff R side and one in the labrum to be repaired eventually as I did the L in 2006) what prevents you from having a beer after repair? I respect personal choice and all but...anywho---we'll get together eventually, I can just sense that-take care my friend-gonna split those 91 rounds in the morning...Peace out!
You might be surprised at how much better you can feel after that repair. I had mine done about 35 years ago and seldom even think about it these days.
Mom just had her left done... Tuesday! Help me out- torn lateral rotator cuff? I'm not good with the terminology, plus she fell a while back and caught herself on the way down, but screwed up the tendon that attaches to her bicep- they decided to cut that and shrink it up.... Dad's up against it trying to keep her comfy! Wish I could be there to help, but..... Drinking no more after surgery- personally held beliefs.... Lata!
