    If they are things that go bang, we're okay with that. If it's something you want to run by us first in a PM quick, no problems there either.

    Yes they go bang. And how! :rootintootin:I was thinking I read that no weapons were allowed. Trying to find where I read that I believe perhaps I misread the forum rules. It says no selling weapons (nor accessories), not none at all.

    Then if its no issue I won't put yellow blocks on my pics.

    Which is kind of cool, I am thinking of making something in a Stihl color pattern. Was thinking an AR but thats too common. Perhaps a post sample subbie with a chainsaw handle :saw:, maybe a sten or something easy. Whatever I end up with it will be way too cool to not post to the FHC!

    Toolboxes, brands you like and more so, brands that have not held up? Looking at upgrading old abused boxes to 1.
    Started looking at this one;
    Husky 52 in. 18-Drawer Tool Chest and Rolling Tool Cabinet Set, Black-HTC5206 HMT5212 - The Home Depot
    Or this one;
    Husky 52 in. W 20 in. D 15-Drawer Tool Chest and Cabinet, Textured Black-H52CH6TR9 - The Home Depot

    Hate to spend the $1,000 plus on some of the nicer boxes, so what are people using? Any thoughts of the Husky's from Home Depot?
    Thanks in advance.

    If you're not in a hurry, just wait it out until the clearance sales after Christmas and before their tax inventory. Son picked up a beautiful stainless for low bucks a couple years ago that way.

    Me, I just use the old craftsman roller and chest. One at the cottage, one here.

    We have had that Husky at work for a couple years. Seems like a solid unit. Used 5 days a week, holding up well.

    I have a problem also.. in addition to power tools (just picked up a wicked battery pvc pipe sheer- I rationalized it as medicinal) but I am sliding down a new addiction hole - high lumen flashlights.

    The bag on the left that you can read the Husky name on is a great bag! I bought one of them 10 years ago for work, used it every day for 7+ years working on batteries and battery chargers. Left it in the van when I was promoted, and to the best of my knowledge, its still in use today.

    I dont have too big of a tool problem, my biggest problem these days is I dont have enough at the house. I need to go to my old roommates house and retrieve my old toolbox from 20 years ago when I thought I wanted to be a mechanic. More than enough in there to handle anything I would need in the house or the driveway. I do need a smaller box or cabinet for my shed though, its a mess of tools, spare parts, etc. Im keeping an eye out for some xmas deals
