    The 2 holes on top?
    Those are blind holes for mounting the filter housing from above...if you had hoses on both inlet and outlet

    Then it was just the filter oring. Never had a filter come loose before so I don't regularly check them. :picard:

    Wow, glad both instances weren't worse. That could have got you in the face bad, Keith.
    We had a hose burst on the tractor and few years ago, on the loader control, luckily for me, it went out the side and not in my face, 2-3' away.
