Best pepper crop I have ever had and still going strong. 10 bell plants, just picked a grocery bag full last night.

I think tomorrow will be our first little fire. Highs in the upper 40's and rain. Seems like about the perfect afternoon to stay inside, watch college football and put some chili in the slow cooker.

Well, I couldn't take it any longer. Cloudy, upper 40's and rain supposed to be coming. So, loaded up Ole' Black Betty with some smalls and light er' off. First flames of the season are special. Found myself running outside like a kid to watch smoke coming out of the chimney (you'd think I was @ the Vatican...LOL) then back in to watch er' do her thing. Now, 3 hours later, have er' running nice @ a fast idle and the temp. in the house is 71 and the humidity has dropped 4 degrees already . Lordy, I love fall.................. 30 Fire Up 002 (Custom).jpg
