We haven't heard from everybody who was in the pool yet. And there are a few who haven't revealed who they played SS to yet.

Define qualified. Back in the day, there were some very unqualified people pumping gas in MA

Well I guess if the qualifications include turning on the pump and putting the nozzle in the hole then I was qualified :D

Hey I remember those days, even though I'm a young squirt in this crowd. Remember sittin in the car and mom drivin up to the station. Guy would pump gas and clean the windows. Still remember that guy and still see him around town.

Yeah, it was allot of fun. Got to meet many others that I might not have otherwise...seems to be the way that this entire site is really turning into a family. A big, dysfunctional, probably could use therapy type of family. In other words PERFECT :p

Yep. They had a "Change belt". It had several slots for all the coins in his little "Batman Belt"! I also remember and I am young as well. That was "Full Serve". The "Self serve" you pumped yourself! :)

There are two good things about living in NJ. They pump your gas for you and free firewood delivered to your yard.

I grew up in a very small village, only had two gas stations and both were small family owned businesses.

The gas station here in town closed down about 2 years ago after being bought a year before that. Dave ran that station most of his life and provided excellent service and him or his son pumped every gallon that came out of that station as long as I lived here up until Dave retired and sold the station. The new owner provided poor service and didn't treat his customers well and it closed down shortly after being bought. Recently it was discovered that the gas tank was leaking into the soil and I am trying to buy part of the land (which is just on the other side of my garage) for a wood work lot.
