Official: Firewood Shortage

    They said it is official in the State of Maine: there is a shortage of seasoned firewood. Average price now is $280 for a full cord seasoned firewood!

    I am betting that a lot of it is not due to the cold as it has not been a bad winter, but rather from higher fuel oil prices and people not getting as much firewood as they used to due to milder winter the last few years.
