    Merry Christmas, brother! I'm glad you like it!

    A couple years ago a maple uprooted here on the neighbor's property where i cut. I took the biggest couple rounds and noodled them into halves to be bowl blanks and put them in the basement to dry. I was so surprised when i saw that spalting! I was stoked to get the bowls made!
    Your's was one half of the round and John's was the other.

    Got me a sweet short handled pickaroon...So far the only thing I used it for was yanking the Prime Rib out of the Roasting pan! Wife was not happy!

    No idea who sent it, but it is much appreciated and I will cherish it! Give me a hint as to who sent it.

    Looking at that letter through a forensic lens gives a great deal of information away. You can tell by the way they write the capital D in dear that you at looking for a tall, dapper woodsman with a refined taste in 2 stroke oil and has an affinity for the finer things in life. Also by the way they wrote braaaaaaap would suggest they drive a 4X4. Just my take on it though. Anyway Merry Christmas.
