    Well, my SS gift arrived today. It was a hoot before I even opened it up. Miz Carol and I both laughed when I got it from the mailbox. 1228201148.jpg 1228201148a.jpg

    I had a pair of overalls when I was in college, also the 80’s. A girlfriend of one of the guys on my dorm floor asked me for them when I wore them out, presumably at the knees. I eventually gave them to her, she cut them down to short shorts and they certainly looked better on her than they ever did on me. Although they did look funny with the wallet burn in the back pocket. She said the regular comment was ‘you steal those from your brother?’

    x2, but my husbands wrangler jeans before we were married, I had never seen Wrangler jeans before. They fit comfortable, perfect cut off shorts! ( We lived in a warmer place back then). Crazy thing is now these days brands charge extra for cuts and rips already there :loco: :crazy:

    I am still waiting on a card my friend sent me three years ago. I do hope your SS isn't lost or stolen or thrown away in some back alley. Let's be honest, the USPS was better when it was a full part of the federal government; this semi-private stuff just hasn't worked.
