    One might screw in a whole bunch of the slabs to split sizes or more. Useful but depends on if you like pulling nails or screws out of ashes. Someone before mentioned this that his pallets would be taken apart and he would cut and screw the slats together for more active burning. Thought about it myself. Not too bad of an idea but id want to reuse screws and that heat might not be too forgiving.
