    Weird, I love the smell of red oak. I reminds me of wiskey barrels, which my parents use to catch rain water and for decoration around their house. And the recent red oak I sawed up and brought home, the home owner and I felt the same way. Very aromatic.

    Just as a side note, I love cilantro as well :) but not the stalks. When you get into the stalks of the plant, it starts tasting/smelling like a stink bug (not that I've eaten one).
