but I was bored. I took it easy, but I felt it the minute I came in. Ive been feeling better but not 100%.... March is a "working" month for me... No hunting, fishing is very slow... Woods have standing water so not much to do in the swamp, and I can only watch so much TV. I can tell it flamed back up but I'll be alright. I backed the splitter in and only did small pieces horizontally. I went vertical for things I would usually one arm. I moved it around a bunch with tractor so I did get too physical. A big mix split today... Maple, cherry, beech, white/red oak. All together Id say a hair over a cord but a few different piles. I'll need to stack soon to keep going as Im boxing in my wood. Hope the back gets better so I can man thru it.
Cant get all the pics to load for some reason.. Oh well, like 6 piles like these total. About a momths worth of wood id say +\-...
In March of 2016 I did the power-through thing with my woodpile. That was followed by surgery in June to repair the damage I did to my back. Be careful!
At least you got out to get some exercise. That too is important. Yesterday was a bad day for most of it but I still did a little physical work and yes, it helped. Hope to do the same today. In fact, I'll be starting up that Kubota soon.
