wish we could give you guys some of this liquid sunshine. It's been raining for three days straight and little to no breaks...
Up for a squirt around 2 this morning and its pretty well been pounding us since. Lots of alarms at work today but didn't care as we needed it big time.
@Bear1998 No problem, gravel drive needs to be raked, the half inch before the skies opened up softened ground to accept it.. But we have been very dry since Well Seasoned GTG, not normal, our normal is half inch thunderstorm at least once a week..
The weather that was stalled to the west of us for several days went scooting by last night. We got about a tenth of an inch.
I got one through Northern Tool a year or so ago when it was on sale. Funny part is there was free shipping too. Then when we set it up there was one hook missing. I called to see if they would send us another hook. I could put it on easily. Nope. A few days later we got a whole new one via ups and also a label so we could send the first one back. They did not make any money on that sale!
Looking at the radar right now there are severe thunder storms along the south edge of Lake Erie. But good news for PA. The folk along the shore might get a little but the rest should go up into NY.
Thats what happens nowadays with defective products, they just ship you a new one, and sometimes they don't want the old one back, especially if it's heavy. My husband ordered some wire shelving racks for the garage, and some arrived bent. The company (Wayfair), shipped replacements, some of which were also bent, and didn't want the first ones back. Rinse and repeat, when he contacted them about the second batch of bent ones. In the meantime,he figured out how to straighten the bent units enough to assemble them, and had enough spares to cobble together good ones. So now we have a forest of rolling wire shelves in the garage. BTW, I really like Northern Tool. I've bought their steel log rack brackets, their long skinny tarps, and my kindling cracker. The membership easily pays for itself with the free shipping.
I got home from work, limbs down, mulch flowed away from the house out of the beds, we must have been pounded with rain. Yup, 1.05" in about 45 minutes according to my weather station.
