Very nice. At least it’s chilly outside. Must be cooking inside :)

From the old days when I still used an open fireplace. Christmas 2010 I think. Provides great heat when it’s running. What you go to sleep it sucks all the warm air out of the house.

That's why doors and windows are designed to open.

I'm beginning to surmise the trick is to keep the stove off the whole day prior to guests arriving and windows open. Let the house get nice and cold and when everyone is complaining about the cold, they will appreciate the fire.

When the kids, or the grand kids come over ,we've got a fire going. Right now its 27 degree's out, crisp, lol. Took the dog out for a short stroll. Came back in, the blaze king's a ''blazin'' and it was 76 in the house. If they complain about how warm it is inside, i invite them to go stand outside for a while and get cool. It don't take long, and they are back inside, loving the heat the old blaze king provides us with. Not to mention saved us a boat load of money.
