Northern lights are dancing tonight.

    Alaska, North of Anchorage & South of Fairbanks
    Was out for about a minute watching the Aurora
    Cold night. Was down to 16° but warming up to 21° now.
    Not sure how far south you can see them,
    but supposed to be a good night for them.

    Not bright ones yet, green ribbon of them so far.
    supposed to get better later.

    Need a higher quality camera. Didn't pan out to be much the times I went out & looked.
    Had some high clouds come in.

    The only time I have seen Northern Lights is in the summer time in the interior of BC (Shuswap Lake). Just bands of green dancing across the sky but it was really neat.
