thanks Dexter, for spelling it out for me, all one word makes so much sense tonight. His post is clear now! I feel pretty dumb right now for not getting that last night!

I was so tired last night, while typing I could hardly stay awake! I didn't get a minutes sleep Friday night, went to bed at 11:00 or so, and laid awake until 5:00 am, I said to myself this is pointless and got up. To much anticipation about running saws I guess kept me awake.

I just love that 661! Only put 2 tanks threw it so far, it is only going to get stronger! I cant even image what it will be like when it comes back from TN!! Is just has so much power right now and is so so smooooth!! I thought my 441 was smooth, the 661 is,,, well,, it's just a smooth smooth ride,,,

Nice pics. We spent about a decade living in Galeton. It took a while, but that open country really grew on me.

Only had a barrel stove in the shop. Burned quite a bit of Siberian Elm.

My mother's rule was if you could see it from the house it could not be cut.

When I was in CO I heard stories of buying oak off rail carloads, somewhere down near Denver, that were brought in from somewhere to the east. I got quite a bit of wood by dropping trees for friends who lived in town and didn't know how to get one down in a small backyard. I also learned about Russian Olive out there - nice big thorns!

I live in south east Wyomng near Cheyenne. I am retired and would have been interested in a GTG. Most of my saws are green and yellow though, but I think my 2100 cd could have fit in.

I wholesale a few cords to a fella who makes the trip across Kansas into CO with a load of Oak or Hedge to sell, then turns around and gets a load of Pinion Pine??? I think he called it.. Then he takes it back to KC and sells it by the cubic foot to folks who like the way it smells..
Says the $ is worth the trip...

Yeah, you'd be spoiled :) If I used the rule, you back east guys use I freeze to death out here. Here is a pic out my kitchen window, not a tree in site, but that little sapling and one small pine.
