Things have really slowed on the wood front. I did get two more cages filled with Locust yesterday. I have enough leftover to fill about two more, and enough Black Birch to fill one. So I’m at 9 filled right now. 5 Black Locust, 1 Elm, 1 Cherry, 1 Black Birch, 1 Black Birch/Maple mix. Plus the wooden boxes of Cherry, and Black Birch/Maple mix. I hope to get 3 more filled shortly, which will bring me up to an even dozen. Can’t do those until I empty last years cages though. Well ahead at this point, but with lumber prices coming back down I want to finish all my splitting and focus all my extra time towards gearing up to get some carpentry projects going soon.

Finally finished the Oak stack. Mainly Red Oak, but there is a good amount of White Oak, as well as a small amount of Sugar Maple. Made a decent bite into the Red Oak rounds pile.

I also split some small piles of Black Locust, Black Birch, and Eastern White Pine which I posted about a week or so ago. Awaiting cages to be empty so I can get this stuff off the ground.
