That's a nice size one. Since we don't have chickens anymore, they are welcome here. Miz Carol can't stand them, though. Had one crawling out of the car wheel the other day...she :hair::hair:...I just  :rofl:  at her. 0512221804.jpg
If you really want a thrill, go fishing in a river and have a snake fall off a limb into the boat...

Along the same lines, this is why I like having King snakes around. Eating a juvenile Cottonmouth at my local swimming hole. AE25BBE8-6301-42EE-A9F8-64D956BD656E.jpeg

When we see a snake around the property we always catch them and put them into the stacks. It can set you back a little when you uncover one while moving splits. We had a 6 footer last year stretched across the drive. It got a little cheeky with me when I went to pick him up.

Miss Redneck would have burnt the car to the ground..

I have always loved going to the south, spent a lot of time in Kentucky when I was younger, took the misses to a cabin in Tennessee for a week a few years ago.
Then my dad told her some of his fishing story's from in the south and about snakes dropping into the boat more the. Once well out fishing the rivers. Don't know if I could get down south again now

Found this guy hiding in my black cherry pile while loading for a delivery. Try to always be careful when moving wood around. I let him live since he was amazing looking.
