Welcome to FHC Flavy ! Looking forward to pics of your install. We now have 7? Or 8 Fahrenheit Endurance 50F users! They are a great unit! I love mine more an more each season (4 full seasons under my belt).

The recall is great news!!

343amc ivanhoe and I know I am missing someone else? I would be contacting Fahrenheit and seeing what they can do! You may have to run in Manual ignite mode, but the LED control panel has a lot of nice (user friendly) options!

The new board is the updated LCD display model. I seems the Red LED board "had a wide variety of issues". They shipped out the new LCD board, and I shipped back the old LED board.

Does the new board give you auto ignition or is it I'm dreaming? LCD manual light:whistle: Too much of a upgrade but it would be a nice, thou! Serial # so we could put you in line of order(seniority, lol);)

I don't think the new LCD board will give you autoignition since the older furnace wasn't designed for it. My serial number is 2566.

The LCD board came out with the auto ignition(i think), having the feature on the board would be strange to reckon with:picard: Houston, we have no ignition so we are sitting ducks on land!:vulture: and the vultures are coming:eek:

Interesting, Must have a bypass or the option to add igniter. Maybe it will also come in the kit??

It has a manual ignite mode or auto ignite.

I would contact Fahrenheit about getting this board. There is far more options with this board. I believe it goes longer between cleanings as well on PPellet.

1st pic is the option to chose auto or manual.

Last 2 are all the other options. There is 10 different fuel settings. Auger and Draft trims are easy to change and are read in numbers. Not dots.

If I had an old board, I would at least see what my options were.

I know the board was swapped by Fahrenheit before I bought my furnace. I might have to make a call and see what the options are.

Mine has also been replaced before putting my hands on the furnace. Upgraded LED control board is on the unit now but we should look into this LCD upgrade. Maybe the auto ignition upgrade might now come down in price:whistle:

The board will knock some off of it.

But you will still need the ignitor, air pump, and new version of the burn pot.

Did I email you the parts list? I have a list of current parts and pricing (and old parts as well).

Even without auto ignite? I think the board is worth the time and energy it will take to contact Fahrenheit and see what they can do? Much more user friendly than the LED model on the older units.

Yes, you did send me the parts list, thx again. The burn pot assembly is $$$. I'm contemplating having a Stainless Steel burn pot & top rack made and at the same time remove some holes you blocked off. I hope this will give the glass airwash more air velocity.
