    Thanks. It's raised about 8" from the floor, the 2 ends are about 24", front side is about 7-8', back wall is 7-8' tall, it is built on one half of 24' wide mobile home, so it spans about 11'...keeps hot coals off my hunny's carpet...:heidi:...
    I know about the time and money thing, bought the stove on sale, sat for several months until we could get the materials for the hearth...wish I could find the pictures of the install, we did all the framing and stove work, my friend did the stone.
