    Well as discussed earlier in the year about a wood shed, it was a nice weekend and let the fun begin.
    I loaded up with beer:drunk:, cracked a fresh bottle of Motrin, leveled some 4x4's, mixed some cement:eek:, "DAM i'm getting old" and this is the start, 16' x 6', I'll get 4 cord in it for the winter. Oh how I wish I had a hot tub:(

    Hehehe… you're in mighty good company here my friend. Can't tell ya how many times I say that one line… "DAM i'm getting old" … usually followed by… how the h*ll does THAT happen? You've got a great start, and that's the hard part… :axe::yes::drunk::campfire:

    Yep, now the fun stuff begins.
    I didn't bother with any concrete. Went just shy of 3' and backfilled with the sand I pulled out.
    Lots of good drainage with all the sand we have.
    Starting to look like mine back in '10 about the same time.
    Get at least the roof supports on asap to help keep the 4xs from twisting too much.
    I just hit 60 a few days ago, and yeah....."Dang it, I'm getting old" is my mantra anymore.:D

    So....:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

    I'm pretty sure gravity gets stronger as we get older, and… that explains a lot. ;) Ya know? :whistle:

    Since I'll be doing the same in a week or two I'm going to follow closely. Do you guys put the 4x4s up then cut them later?

    Explains why I can't get off my azz as easy as I used to.
    The gravitational pull must be stronger as you get closer to the floor too. Every time I make the mistake of leaning over or getting down on the floor, it's tough getting back up.
    Can't wait for more pics today.....:thumbs::whistle::popcorn:

    Oh yea, leave them long. Those are 10ft'rs and once I set and level the top plates at 7ft, just tack them in, draw a line around the 4'xs' and cut them off.

    "and cut them off." … anyone guess what the precision tool of choice might be? :D
