I read code books because I do this for a living. I also attend classes every year where we go over any changes in codes. If I didn't know the codes I couldn't do my job properly. And anyone who is self installing or even having a pro install should have atleast a basic understanding of the codes to be sure their install is safe and legal.

Knowledge is not a bad thing.

I'm pretty disappointed to read this thread on this site. I've been heard saying (jokingly) in the past "life's short hit ignore" though I've rarely used that function myself. I'm sad to say I have used it twice after reading this one thread.:picard:

Those who know me know I'm pretty easy going and level headed but man this thread... idk I may have to give myself a fhc holiday:confused:

If you can't get along with the folks here you might need to look in the mirror and ask yourself wtf is wrong. If one person has a problem with you, then it might just be that person, but when several people start getting after you, don't you think there might be a pattern?

My advice is to imagine you are talking to each other face to face. If you would not say what your about to type to someone in person you probably should think about your bedside manner.

I'll :zip: now and move along.
