    That would make a great contest How Many splits in this Round.
    Also how many Cubic feet (Cords of firewood) from all pieces.
    Lots of work but worth every BTU's in that Ash. Now get to :saw:, :axe:, :stacker:

    I haven't ran it with the 25" yet, but the 034super does pretty good with it so I thought I would let the younger saw have a turn.

    That is the saw I have with 25" bar, no mods. I've never cut ash, but have cut white, red oak, hickory, poplar...on smaller logs I run full comp chain, on big stuff like that, full skip. I had always used round ground chain until recently. I tried out a square ground, wow talking about chips flying...a little more trouble to sharpen, but worth the effort...try one out and see the difference. Nice load of wood there.

    Fear not, it is ash! Should all be good except that mess on the right. I hate to see when someone cuts it up like that. Very poor cutting or no thought at all went into that.

    I started one like that with a ms260, was carving it up like a pie.. 20 inch bar and a lot of noodles!! Pics!!
