    That said, I always research and do due diligence over any expenditures. The truck thing was a bit of a different experience though. Nearly bought a new Ram, but dodged that and went with a great deal on my Ford. :cool:

    I should probably dig up your truck post. Ah why not just derail this a bit. A little over a year ago I got a 2020 f150 for a work truck. Seats are not as comfortable to me as I think the ram seats were. But that's not what I'd be worried about if I bought it with my money. It's got the 5.0 and 10 speed trans. When it's cold and not warmed up the trans is slow to shift and hunts a bit. It spark knocks more than anything I have ever driven . It's like and old worn out engine with to much advance. Will knock through all the gears. It randomly shutters from a stumble I guess a misfire. It's never long enough to throw the CEL. This is always at idle sitting when it does it. And it also has burned just over a quart of oil between oil changes since day 1. So that's all I have noticed in the 30,000 miles I have put on it in the 20 months or so that I have had it.

    That's unfortunate. But 1 qt of oil between changes will surely be " within acceptable standards" per legalese.:picard: Also, you never hear of these issues on the previous gen 5.0's with the 6 spd like mine. 80k now on it, doesn't burn any oil, but the front left when bearing is starting to make some slight noise. Seems to be a common issue, especially the drivers side front like mine. I'll fix that soon.

    BMW used to claim that up to 1 qt/1000 miles was "normal" for their bikes...if you think about it, that's enough to see visible smoke at times! o_O :hair:

    Considering most bikes hold a lil over 3 qts that's bad. Now in their autos, they've got some real oil burners. The turbos in the center of the "V" engines, instead of outside the block like normal engines have been known to lose a couple quarts per 1000 miles. :binoculars::rolleyes:o_O

    Looks good, my dad has the same with out the beavertail. Little bouncy while unloaded (behind F-250), but pulls great otherwise.
    His is a Load Trail I think, but they all use the same axles, lights, etc.

    I spent 45 minutes researching a new $30-45 wireless charging pad for our cell phones last night. Granted, I was watching TV so it wasn't the full amount of time, but I always compare so I'm spending my $ as wisely as I can, or at least think so at the time.

    Then again, that's what I do for a living. So there's that
