Some of the stores do have the Lignetics so anyone looking for the Lignetics it's best to scan the barcode first because there is lots of last year's stock still sitting around.
Awesome info - I'll have to check out the local TSC - although what they have now looks like it is older stock at this point.
Thanks for the info. Do you happen to know how the bag looks like? Maybe there may be some TSC stores with them around your area in PA but it looks like they haven't arrived up here in CT.
There are stores in NY with the Ligs. I haven't even checked my local stores yet. So I haven't seen any of the bags yet, but I'm working on getting a pic.
Ok not even gonna bother posting a pic as they are in they blue and white TSC bags, so the only way to tell until the old stock filters through is by the SKU # 's I posted above.
Does the lig codes differentiate between ligs and the geneveas? Think the ligs were better than the geneveas
Not across the board. In general, the stores in a given region will continue to stock from mills within that region. I say in general because there have been strange supply and demand times in recent years, where we see all sorts of "foreign" stuff here, lol. But for the most part we will continue to see largely MWP and likely Genevas too around here. Other areas will see Currans, Ligs, Pro Pellets, Energex, Chit Rivers, etc. per usual for their area.
I can say I won't be scouring TSC looking for the Ligs because they are a popular pellet in my neck of the woods so if I wanted to burn them I could buy them several places cheaper and closer then TSC.
TSC uses regional mills for suppliers. Shipping is too expensive to truck it very far. I haven't heard about any changes from TSC.
They had some new stock in the Hillsboro, NH store and the SKU is 711039328002, which is not the MWP numbers that they were carrying as recently as a couple weeks ago. Hmm, if I was a betting gal, I would think NEWPs - but I'm not. Someone plese tell me they are somersets or something that I'm dying to try, but can actually afford at $5.19/bag.
Farmington CT has those same 319.... sku's. Darn, dry creeks were horrible for me in the past. I was hoping to snag 5-10 bags a day in my car (i drive right past it every day) instead of ordering a couple tons from the pellet house this year. I signiifcantly reduced my storage space this summer by re-doing part of my lower level. I re-finsied the floor with some pergo so it's not carpet on slab any more. PLus, i'm using the room as a 'den' now. At least it looks nice :X
