Just got tricked at TSC in Patterson, NY. Needed some pellets and thought I would try a few bags, see how they worked for the weekend. I tried to look up the UPS but didn't have my phone with me, so I decided to wing it.
I got home and googled and it looks like I grabbed 4 bags of GS. Oh, poop.
    UPC: 449394031717

Also, was in HD in Brewster NY yesterday. The had GS and FSU by the bag. SC by the ton. Garden guy was trying to tell me how he didn't like the FSU and really really loved the GS and I should try them. I wonder if he makes a commission selling that crap? I'm not a fan. Grabbed 4 bags of FSU and then the 4 from TSC (GS). just tested a bag of DF Okies - going to be VERY different heat output once we put the GS in :bug:

They have so many they must push them. About every place I visit tells me they are the popular one and people love them. I didn't buy it either. Only a last resort will I bother with them.

I've been checking in everytime I hit HD (which is often b/c we have decided to re-do the dining room and are dealing with lumpy plaster walls, layers and layers of paints, etc). GS seem to always be in stock and the "extra" pellet rotates. This is the first time I saw the FSU.

I'm still mad I picked up the TSC ones without checking though! I should have known...Patterson TSC had crap last year too!

Tsc used to get sets and awf softs. Even greenways and hamers from time to time. This generic white bag "compression flow technology" crap is starting to irritate me. Wheres the good stuff already

Wife was down to TSC today getting some grub for the critters. She saw these on the way in.

UPC says Geneva's by our research. I'll grab some next time I go by. Haven't seen Geneva's in a while here.

How did those do? I just noticed the local TSC has the white bag with blue lettering (didn't look at the UPC unfortunately), but at $5/bag, wanted to see what they were. I may pick up a couple anyway, just for giggles (sitting on 13 tons - don't NEED any :D)

Pretty decent. I'd get more if the price was right. Hoping they have em this fall for $225 ish.

Liggies bought em, Just not sure how much they changed them to match the liggies specs.

These had far less ash then the PTL's had IMHO. ;)

The timing for that comment is funny, and here is why - I finally finished the Cubex and Hamers I have been running in the P43, and earlier this week went back to the PTL's I got last fall (still have ~ a ton left). I was thinking to myself earlier, as I was scraping ash out of the pot as I've had to once/day since burning the PTL's, "Dang, big difference in ash." I got spoiled by not having to clean out the pot but every 3-4 days . If I think of it next weekend, I'll grab a couple of bags from TSC.

I'd be surprised if they weren't MWP given your NH location.

We see mostly MWPs in the TSC bags around here but also see a decent amount of some others in the TSC bags as well. Currans hardwood and blend, dry creeks, ligs, chows, appalachians, loads of genevas this past season and even some GS too.
