Just finished cleaning the P61A after those horrible TSC Currans. By far the nastiest, ashiest pellets I’ve burned in over 20 years of burning. Never again....

I noticed my local TSC did run out of pellets about a month ago or so, and the new hardwood pellets were VERY ashy, real bad, are those currants?
The American Wood Fibers softwood they brought in seem to burn clean, I like them.

What is the UPC code on the bags you are burning now?

Oh, I guess I should have asked for the UPC of the ashy pellets to check if they are Currans - my bad

See picture but not sure if the bag is from the last batch.
I can stop by again by TSC tomorrow to double check.

Your UPC traces to "Tractor Supply Co".
This is the UPC that has been carried in our local stores for the past few years. Myself and local Quad/Harman/ESW friends all dislike them. (I buy them only during shoulder season when I can't make it to the other shops before closing.)
Last week, I bought a few bags at Tractor Supply because they had a different UPC code... which traces to "Curran's". In my stove, these 2 UPC codes burn identically.

Based on the first half of the number, it’s Lignetics but that name spans so many different products these days, it really doesn’t tell you much.
