I almost just bought a ton from Lowes to avoid delivery costs on another item. Online the description says TP pellets. The girl at the store said they were Green Supremes.

Those will most likely be Doug Fir pellets from either Bear Mountain or the Idaho Lignetics mill

It would be very convienent to have those delivered here from 100 miles away!! (no delivery here  on anything). I might just try 2 pallets to see vs the Heartlands we've used since 2014 (and the Rocky Mountains we will not use again except in a jam).

I just saw this. The first one is the hardwood and the second is an invoice from the hardwood blend. Any idea how well they burn?

The top pic is Curran hardwoods. Years ago I burned the product from the Schuler, NY mill (from your second pic). Neither are appealing options.

Why is that weird? Lignetics owns NEWP.

I didn’t know that till after I wrote that. Are New England pellets any better now?

I bought a few bags of barefoot super premium from a local place and I gotta tell yah, I’m pretty impressed. Not horrible ash, burn very nicely. But the place said they can’t get a ton or don’t have a ton left

They did have hardwoods that scanned at lignetics. But I scanned more of the hardwoods they had and they scanned as Curran’s. So you really have to look at the upc when you go to get them

Just grabbed a ton at my local TSC. Didn’t realize until I got home that they were CURRAN Harwood. Thought I was getting MWPs. Oh well... My Harman will burn anything so I’m really not concerned...really...I’m not......:heidi:

Mine too. I have a p43 but just all the ash and low heat sucks. I try to scan them and find out which ones they are. See I was at tsc the other day and the hardwoods they had on the floor were lignetics but all the ones outside were Curran. The blends had no scan info so I have no clue who makes them.

Are those the same as the North American blend sold at Lowe’s?

Not really. Its just a significant amount of ash compared to the Okie Gold softwoods I was burning. No clinkers in the Currans just alot of fluffy ash.
