Last time I bought, I used vincheckpro.com to check the ones I was serious about. https://www.vincheckpro.com/vin-go You can see some info on their site for free, but the report you want before you buy, costs a couple bucks each...gotta buy a package. Not quite as detailed as Carfax, but also only $12...and that lets you check 5 or 6 different vehicles...been a couple years back now, so their program may have changed a bit by now...I'm satisfied with them though.
I used to be about 35 minutes from Holland but I moved to northern Michigan this past summer. Add about 4 hours to that number now. Maybe I should figure out how to update the map....
Pulled the trigger on this truck today. Not new, but new enough. 502a package 5.0 2016 lariat. Rear e-locker, pro trailer assist for my wife at the boat launch, BLIS with trailer coverage, panoramic roof, heated and cooled leather seats, power everything, remote start, heated steering wheel, factory Ford spray in bedliner, soft tonneau cover, man step, bed lighting, all LED head and fog lights, rear power sliding glass with defroster built in ,nav unit with Android auto, fx4 offroad package, probably stuff I forgot to mention, one owner and most importantly, the price was right. Now I can start looking for a new bike... They deliver it on Monday after work after they do a full detail on it. The sales guy was easy to deal with. Told him I didn't want the stupid protection plan or extended warranty. He even beat my loan rate I or qualified for on Friday by a large amount. Now I have to clean out the garage so it will fit, and also working on cutting the people I have asking about my audi. I didn't trade it in because it's worth a lot more than they could offer. Because the Audi is so rare, they couldn't even find comparable cars locally. Lol no chit. There's only like 4 for sale in the world right now and 2 of these are super low miles and very high priced. Mints listed less than the other comparable one, but it's in better shape and none doesnt have a salvage title like the other one. I've got an Audi guy that is really interested, amongst others.
You know I never really looked at that. Something to be honest that I really don't care about. I live in wide open suburbs, really mostly country. None of the brands would have a turning radius like my Audi does. It's got all the sensors to tell me when I'll be running over the Kia behind me. Lol. I can't image the turning radius would be much different than any other brand. I mean that big rear seat/ cab has to some negative to it.
me too! i dont like anything about buying a vehicle! just gotta do your homework and put your poker face on!. and never answer a question the way they want.
Just saw my first 2019 Ranger at a dealership, unless they turn out to be horrible, I see one in my future
They are very impressive. I just wanted a bit more room inside the cab, otherwise I was thinking of waiting for the ranger ( or the Jeep gladiator).
Congrats Horkn !! Nice new truck!! After following this for 2 years I am happy to see it come to a happy ending
Thats a beauty Horkn. It is a great feeling getting a good truck that you know will be with you for many adventures and memories over the years.
Yeah it's even more impressive in person. My wife had to keep it under check when she first saw it. It's rtfm time for all the doodads. Shine are very straightforward, some are not. At any rate it will be easier to figure out than my Audi was. Crazy Germans. We'll be driving it down to Florida and back in a couple of weeks for a 9 day vacation.
Yeah. No problem, I do that sometimes too with replying and not reading ask the new posts. It's a sharp truck all right. It needs bigger tires on it though. These are new, but very street oriented. They'll be fine for driving to Florida though.
