New truck shopping

Yes...all season tires...for cars. They are about worthless on trucks that go off the pavement. I do have Cooper Courser AXTs on my truck...but they really don't impress me either...impressed only with how quick they fill up with mud and act bald!

 

Reminded me of driving east to west over Corona Pass in Colorado in a 2wd Ford 150 in ‘89 or ‘90. Not something I would do twice, but we made it.

 

I looked up those tires and learned that Cooper owns Mastercraft. I'm going to get Cooper STT pros in the next couple of months for my trucks.

 

Look at the Cooper AT3 XLT's new tread pattern and better compound really happy with them on my 4th gen .
2nd gen has the old style also good tires replaced the STT with them.

 

Hey HORKN have you seen the new incentive from Ford.

 

Ford has to add the dog on as an option ...not built in under the hood ... like some others ...

 

That's a good incentive. I mean, who can't use another dog? It's close to the incentive that ram gives new buyers now.

Electrical Gremlins are not good companions though.

 

I showed my wife the new ram, just a big Horn model and she was pretty impressed by the interior. It was so cold that I didn't bother to show her any of the other models they had outside, just the one in the showroom. She, like me like the monochromatic ones with no chrome though. I certainly won't buy an etorque hemi for the 2500 when the standard hemi it's only 1500 over the base v6standard rtorque).

I'm looking at used 15+ Ford's now. I'm all set to pull the trigger on a loaded 5.0 lariat tomorrow. Got approved for loan today.

There's one 2018 5.0 xlt that I'm drooling over that's in the lower peninsula of Michigan. Low miles 5.0 with the 10 spd.

HDRock or others around Holland, do you want to look at a truck for me this weekend? Only partially kidding.

If I get a used truck, I can upgrade to a newer motorcycle this spring.

 

I'm always looking at trucks, bikes, whatever.

I see that Holland is nowhere near Mr HDrock.

This 2016 I found is a half hour north of me. I'm running nada on it to see if cargurus website is correct on value.

Does anyone have access to Carfax or similar service that I could give a VIN to to check?

 

By the members map, looks like 343amc is about the closest to Holland.

Private seller or dealer? Most dealers will run a Carfax for you free of charge.

 

My friend offered to send his wife with me to the dealer. He said she is ruthless. I hate trying to deal.

 

Horkn in all your research do they give turning radius?? Ford's seem to be larger
