What do you think that trailer will weigh loaded up? You must have a 4.0 v6 4runner. I know our v8 runner is good to 7k. But, yeah, a superduty will do it better.

Lol actually he asked if I wanted a load of oak with it. Of course I wouldn’t turn that down! He offered to load me up with his tractor as well. Great guy, I had purchased a few buggies from him before.

Yep a 2013 4.0 limited. It works well. I would have gotten a v8 if I could have found one with a third row. That was a deal breaker.
Im not sure on the axles, it’s a big tex. I only plan to haul a cord maybe two in it. At some point I will look up specs. My pops has a 7.3 f250, but 2wd. Too nice to beat up. Where I cut I usually need 4wd and I need an extra cab to haul my family. I’ll keep looking!

Yota stopped making v8 4runners in 2009, so if you bought it new, that wasn't even an option in 2013. It's a shame really. The 4.6 with the 6 spd is in the Lexus gx, which is really a 4runner with an ugly grill and a hefty price tag.

Hahahahh i love the land cruiser/gx but refuse to pay that much for fuel. Im too cheap. We dont buy new, got the 4runner used and paid cash a few years back. Beggers can’t be choosers. It has 160k or so. I’ll fix it when it breaks, but it’s been a solid reliable family rig. We take it out camping, towing, and camping. It’s usually dirty, and has some kind of roof rack, hitch racketc on it. The guy across the street has a lifted TRD that is a pavement princess. Always clean, just cruises it to work and back. Nice guy, but couldn’t imagine using it for a daily.
