Very nice toy...err...tool. They are very useful. We got our Honda 1000-5 Trail in Oct. I use it to haul wood to the house, holds 10 5gal buckets We opted for the upgraded roof system for the play toy part, it has audio system and lights built in The bed folds up for 2 additional seats. Keeps it the length of a regular size.
Hey, when you turn that system up and that 300 watt amp starts kicking.... It has 8 - 6x9's, 4 - 4" ports and 12" subwoofer, I think...
What model is the Kawasaki? You said you bought new tires but it's new? What was wrong with the other tires? Just curious. Just yesterday, got my gasoline Gator fitted with two new front tires. Got the motor purring. Yippee, going again and hope I don't have to air up a tire for a long time! Also have a diesel Gator but it needs a solenoid or starter, gotta tackle it next. Will keep one at the woodlot and one at home. Bought both used over the years. Majorly handy machines.
It is a Mule Pro FXT 1000. The was nothing wrong with the tires other than they were more of an all purpose tire than off road. My Honda Rubicon needed new tires so I decided to swap them since the Honda sees more road time and the Kawi will probably never leave the woods.
lukem it ain’t bragging brother guy feels guilty about posting pic about a tool; any body can work prioritize and buy proceeds to post pics of amazing wood work and cabinetry skills in various threads
That is what was kind of throwing me; I couldn't figure out why they would NOT have tires like you have on it already on it. Or maybe your new Mule is meant more for work than play? That is what I need! The tires on your new Kawasaki happened to fit your Rubicon? How fortunate! I wish I could find a set of used tires for my diesel Gator. I found a set, pledged to buy them and asked for a time to come get them and the guy finally admitted after a bunch of run-around that he sold them to someone else. I don't relish paying for new tires for the old Gator. Buying just two new tires for the gasoline Gator was bad enough, lol.
The Mule tires were 1" bigger than the factory Rubicon tires but still fit fine. Rim size was the same so it was an easy swap. Tires are STUPID expensive for these things. I caught a President's day sale and got 40% off a full set from kjmotorsports.com and it was still hard to stomach.
I have a little 4x8 trailer. It has the narrow tires so I won't be able to put too much on it when it's wet, but it should be fine for what I need. The bed is big enough for 75% of what I do anyway.
Any kind of tire are stupid expensive now and have been for like 2+ years. I'm hoping the pumped up tire prices deflate a bit , soon. Sorry, but not sorry for the puns.
Well this sucks. Kawasaki put out a stop ride / stop sale recall in this model. Reason why is unclear...no official word except a "combustion risk". Could be days, weeks, or months before a fix is ready for it .
Probably some unapproved fuel line or something, killin de Erf. Or someone's has burned down and litigation has begun.
Just over two months later Kawasaki finally has a fix announced. It is a new wiring harness/jumper and ECU reflash. The problem was backfire on very cold startups supposedly blowing up intake manifolds. Once I understood the problem I started riding sparingly, but will be glad to get this machine back to full service.
