New tools ordered today

    I'd like to know your opinion on the log hook. It looks like it differs from a pulp hook in that it doesn't let you set it into a piece of wood with a flick of the wrist but its rigid S shape might allow you to easier hold a piece of wood in the bottom of the S. As usual any tool can have its own distinct usefulness.

    Like said , I haven't used it yet.
    I don't know how it's going to work out , I thought I would like to try it .
    Don't know about the handle orientation , the holster is hard plastic and bulky so , not sure if that will work out .
    Probably the best use will be to get a hold of the other end or side after I have the pulp hook stuck in the opposite end .
    I don't think it will stick as easy or hold as well as a pulp hook.
    I'm not sure what the Wiregate carabiner deal is for.

    Oh man haven't looked for new tools in a while. Glad to see fiskars is stepping up the wood tools. I have a pickaroon but that fiskars looks awesome.
