For a top handle saw that will spend most of its life on the ground and not see any serious work other than limbing some dropped trees, doesn't seem to make sense to go pro-grade. I held a 150T the other day - it feels real nice in the hand, not the most versatile outside of a tree. Without any wrap handle you're kind of limited in cutting saplings/clearing felling lanes. Either way you go the white and orange will hold its value should you decide to part with it
Yea, I know, I know……. Stopped at the shop on the way home where my bud Gary works and I could not turn down the deal, display last one. Plus his shop was just bought out by Ace hardware so right place right time for me. The discount off list should be more than enough to cover the mod and shipping if needed, although I just might try this one myself, I do sell and repair boat motors all day and from what I have researched it don't seem to difficult. Fuzz, you had me sold but the Echo was out of stock at the first place I stopped, guess it was meant to be… As far as the weight this thing feels like a fly swatter compared to my 261. can't wait to feed it a little wood. Thanks again Guys for all the comments, might try to make it to Dex's outing to see some real saws in action, pretty sure I'd enjoy that !
