Sorry guys ,if I miss spoke . It’s been several years since I have bought a Sugi bar , I have several . At the time I bought them the only company that sold them in the US only stocked Stihl mounts ,and included the ring adaptors . I didn’t mean to cause a crap storm . Mea Culpa !

This one was made for the Husqvarna large mount. No adapters needed.

I bought mine at HL Supply when it was on sale. Can't remember the price, but it was good. If you can wait until they are on sale somewhere, you will save a few (many) bucks.

I have been thinking about a New 28" bar for my 372XP, My Options are:

    1. Husky OEM $83.42 Shipped

    2. TsuMura $109.85 Shipped

    3. Sugihara $138.45 Shipped ............. Edit: found a better price, and updated

    What do you guys Think????

Will I notice that much difference between the OEM bar, and the Light weights??

Is the TsuMura worth an extra $26.43??

Is the Sugi worth an Extra $55.03??? :bug:

    Your Thoughts??

Yeah, I KNOW, it is EASY for You to Spend MY MONEY:whistle::rofl:

    Doug

They are tough . Probably give the wear edge to the Sugi’s , the weight edge to the Tsumuras . Nothing sciencey , just personal opinion .

Good to know. I didn’t buy the Sugi’s for the weight loss. In the smaller sizes it’s a wash imo. I like the Tsumuras just a much as far as looks go.

I cover the weight difference in the video on the first page. It's is a bit noticeable when cutting. Sugi claims 4x longer wear. If that is true, and others say it is, then spending the extra is well worth it. This is my first one and so far I'm happy. Going to run it for awhile, then If all is well with it, I'll get a couple more for the others saws I use on a regular basis.

Yeah that waw will run a full house chain if you don't horse it. Runs a full skip like gang busters.

The saw is a 372xpw. I bought it as such. When I broke a ring in it and pulled it apart, it had a 50mm piston and jug on it. Replaced with a Hyway 52mm kit. Have about 8 or 10 tanks through it and it's running good.

If anyone has the ability to weigh a Tsumara 28" lightweight bar, I would like to know what it weighs so I can compare the weight to that of the Sugihara.
