i have the F45 and has worked very well for me. The turbulator is basically part of the secondary burn system. There are metal fins on top of the baffle that create turbulence and secondary burn hole that ignite the gases. Before you install I advise you to remove the retainer clips for the center top cover of the stove so you can access the top for cleaning.
