With you all the way on that happy note Dennis. Cold air mass has slipped eastward also. Back to normal for a while.
Supposed to snow lightly here all day; 2-4" expected, but the icing by the time we leave work have us concerned. Expecting .25" ice, maybe more. Will end up being heavy rain at the tail end of the warm front, add snow melt, we may see flooding locally. Get your sleds ready thewoodlands and Scotty Overkill!
i'm hitting the unlike button here, ice is the worst. .25" almost problem area. travel safe, may the water pass under. then we can all get to Easter and Passover
They started out calling for 6-8" here....it's all the way down to 1-3" now. I'm not getting my hopes up. Being I'm off of work for Presidents Day tomorrow, I'll be splitting that norway maple up that we cut down yesterday, as well as getting the maple evaporator dug out of the barn, setting it up and prepping for tapping trees all week. Maple season can commence! If we get any snow, you bet your azz I'll have the sled out for a while too!!
Been snowing here, not showing up on any radar. Very small round flakes. Expecting maybe 3", waiting for the storm to turn more northerly. Ice amounts decreased, so that's good!
Well just as I suspected that storm steered clear of us for the most part, we ended up with barely a dusting.....lmao.
Ottawa which is 80 miles south east from us is supposed to get a foot of snow with freezing rain and sleet mixed in. Renfrew which is about 20 miles south east of us is supposed to get 4-5 inches. We are supposed to get 2-3 inches here. Talk about being "On The Line"..............
They called for some possible icing for us this morning after a little snow. We got the little snow but no icing. Hope you get the same.
